Welcome to the S&A Aspiring Leaders Programme, delivered in partnership with Mind-Gap. We’re delighted to have you join this exciting development journey designed to help you enhance your leadership knowledge, skills, and behaviours, and to become a more effective and confident leader within S & A.
Over the coming months, you’ll explore a wide range of leadership and self-development topics. The programme begins with a PPA personality assessment to help you understand your personality and leadership style and will then continue with 10 training days spread over 18 months – with a break during your peak season (May–September). Topics include Business Strategy, Team Management, Emotional Intelligence, Communication, Stress & Wellbeing and more.
This programme also includes an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management offering a nationally recognised qualification equivalent to a foundation degree. You’ll also develop and deliver an S&A business project, supported by our Mind-Gap facilitators, along with written assignments and a closing presentation to share your learning.
The programme will take place offsite enabling you to both fully focus on your learning and connect with others from S&A on the programme, via a range of opportunities for social connection and networking in evenings etc. All this will help you to strengthen ongoing relationships across S&A.
As you can tell, you’ll have access to this, our Mind-Gap’s Learning Management System, with videos, handouts, and additional guidance to support your learning.
