​”I have been Dave’s line manager since January 2001 when he joined Citizen Housing Group. During his time here Dave’s obvious skills and abilities resulted in him being promoted on 2 occasions as the business has grown, ending up with a Senior Management Team role as Director of Strategy. Dave has made a major contribution to shaping the strategic direction of the organisation during this time.

Dave has exceptional leadership skills. Setting clear goals and objectives and employing coaching and mentoring to support and develop individuals has resulted in highly engaged staff and excellent performance for both Dave and the teams he has lead. He is reliable and has great integrity.

His have been invaluable in delivering a number of key strategic projects. Dave is incredibly hardworking, motivated and purposeful. His drive and determination to complete tasks has resulted in considerable success for the business. He is a strong team player and is quick to evaluate and understand business needs.

With boundless enthusiasm, energy and professionalism Dave gives of his best and is passionate about his work. He is very driven and self motivated requiring little support or guidance. Able to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines, including successfully tackling challenging situations and individuals.

An effective communicator, Dave relates well to people at all levels and is excellent at collaboration and partnership working and has very strong networking skills. He is visionary and willing to seek out and share ideas with others.

I hold Dave in very high regard. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with him over the past 14 years and I very much value the support that he has given to me as his line manager. I cannot recommend him highly enough”.
